  This place surprised me with how good it was. The vegan beef pho’s broth was very flavourful and had a meaty taste to it. Of course you could tell the beef wasn’t real, but it pairs well with the vinegar sauce and tasted pretty good. This would definitely satisfy vegans who miss pho. I do wish they had given you the typical bean sprouts, lemon, etc toppings. The soup was also a bit on the oilier side, but not too bad. The spareribs flavour reminded me of honey garlic pork, it was super good. I like how they used purple rice over white and it was definitely needed because the sauce is a bit on the saltier side. Flavour packs a punch!
  
  Overall, the food was good and I love how everything was vegan without feeling like you’re missing something. Portion size was good and price was reasonable. I’d definitely come back and recommend you come here as a great vegan Vietnamese option!

  Viet Family is a new family-run, all-vegan Vietnamese restaurant in Vancouver. I’ve only been here once so far with a small group of people who wanted to share a few things, and while I wasn’t wowed by every dish on our first visit, I did leave satisfied and full enough to want to return to try their soups.
  
  The Lemongrass Chicken was the favourite out of all the things we ordered, followed by the Summer Roll. The other items we ordered (Mushroom Beef, Brussel Sprouts, and Dumplings) were just OK; nothing groundbreaking/legendary to brag about.
  
  One thing to note though is that while their menu states animal names, their proteins are all actually soy based; no animal meat is served here.
  
  I will be returning to try out their soups and may be revising this review in future.

  Delicious and friendly new vegan Vietnamese on the Drive! We’ve been here three times already and heartily recommend it. The tofu bowl is as great as everyone says. But we’ve tried several dishes and they were all yummy!

  For those who are vegan lover, you must try this place, Asian vegan food, particularly Vietnamese Cuisine style. We ordered few dishes and all of them were Amazing. I would recommended Tofu bowl and peach tea, the bowl is excellent fusion and well-mixtured fresh veggie and toppings. Now i know the option to eat vegan in Vancouver restaurant. I would definitely recommend for my vegetarian friends, also option for converting my meat-lover friends to eat healthy food.

  We love this restaurant. I have eaten here with my family twice, my mum has been 4 times. We always have had friendly service. and the food is amazing. Of particular note are the Singapore noodles, the fresh rice paper vegetable rolls, and the birds nest chicken. We will certainly be visiting again!
