  Recently, I just bought a property in Belconnen (Canberra).
  I have seen Sandra Forrest for legal action from Velocity Conveyancing at Belconnen Office.   Recently used this firm to purchase a property in NSW and I found them to be disorganised at best. I ended up dealing with three or four different people for a strait forward purchase. The day before settlement I get a frantic call stating I am $50,000 short and to please advise how this was to be paid. They had been provided all details accurately from my bank more than once (CBA) and there was no shortfall of this amount at all. My broker from CBA stated the same, he felt they were quite incompetent. The actual solicitor I met with in person was excellent, the other people involved to finish it off were hopeless. Miscalculated my end bill, sent me a 'completed statement' and then a month later they send me a request for more money they had left out of their final bill. Would not use them again.
